International Women’s Day Hike 2026 (Save the Date)
Join Cadence, the Women & Girls Fund of Waukesha County and us as we honor International Women’s Day with a guided hike at Lapham Peak.
Led by Becky Burton, this energizing hike will take us through prairie and forest landscapes, including a stretch of the Ice Age Trail. Along the way, participants will enjoy meaningful stops to hear stories of women in history and their lasting impact. The full route spans approximately six miles with the option to loop back to the parking lot at the halfway point.
What to Bring:
- Sturdy walking shoes
- A small pack with water, snacks, and an extra layer
- Sun hat, sunscreen, and bug repellent
- Rain gear if conditions are uncertain
- A packed lunch if you’d like to gather afterward
This hike is rain or shine, barring dangerous weather.
