International Women’s Day Hike 2026
Join Cadence Cycling MKE, the Women & Girls Fund of Waukesha County and us as we honor International Women’s Day with a guided hike at Scuppernong Trailhead.
Led by Cadence’s Becky Burton, this energizing hike will take us through three miles of prairie and forest landscapes, including a stretch of the Ice Age Trail. The trail is hilly, but we’ll be at a relaxed pace and will have stops to talk about the local ecology and women who have been important in understanding and protecting the environment.
What to Bring:
- Sturdy walking shoes
- A small pack with water, snacks, and an extra layer
- Sun hat, sunscreen, and bug repellent
- Rain gear if conditions are uncertain
- A packed lunch if you’d like to gather afterward
- Hiking poles might be a good idea
- Dogs on leashes welcome!
This hike is rain or shine, barring dangerous weather.
