WF Laundry Night: Airing the Patriarchy’s Dirty Laundry

The patriarchy continues to shape our world in complex and challenging ways; however, meaningful conversations have the power to ignite change. Join us for an evening of authentic conversations and meaningful connections. Topics vary and casually unfold into practical insights and strategies to drive progress.

This month’s gathering is hosted by WF community member Gudrun Howard at Thirst Books. Thirst is independent, woman-owned, LGBTQIA+ affirming and the first brick-and-mortar romance bookstore in Milwaukee. Its bookshelves are carefully curated to promote inclusivity with respect to race, sexual orientation, gender identity, body shape and ability, as well as neuro-divergencies as equally deserving of love.

Held once a month, these gatherings offer a supportive and welcoming space for open dialogue, shared learning, and collective growth. You leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and connected in a community of change-makers. If you’re passionate about fostering gender equity, we welcome you.
