WF Reception, Alverno Report…Women in Public Life

In 2020, the Women’s Fund made a grant in honor of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. The year also marked the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Alverno College Research Center for Women and Girls.
This research project honors a 1970 report and intends to understand the pathways women take to public office, the concerns they have in doing so, and the challenges that emerge while campaigning.
The program starts at 5:45 p.m., complimentary refreshments will be provided.
This event is free to attend; however, registration is requested. Information about the specific room on campus and other logistics will be provided to all registrants ahead of the event.
