This special 40th anniversary initiative brings the Women’s Fund and
Milwaukee Film together to honor women’s stories on screen and in
our community… one seat, one name, one shared commitment at a time.

Forty seats. Forty names. One powerful statement. To celebrate 40 years of progress for gender equity we’re doing something we’ve never done before.
This limited initiative invites 40 supporters to claim a permanent seat in the Lubar Cinema, building on the partnership established through the Cinematic Sisterhood film series in a way that’s visible and unforgettable.
Your gift supports both organizations equally. It’s a true 50/50 collaboration that sustains women-centered filmmaking and fuels the Women’s Fund’s mission to advance equity and opportunity for women and girls across our community.
When you claim a seat:

Your name is honored on an engraved plaque installed on a theater seat between April 1–15, 2026.

Your name is publicly listed alongside the other supporters who made this moment possible.

You automatically become a WF Power Illuminator and a Milwaukee Film Director.

You make a clear, public statement of support for both the Women’s Fund and Milwaukee Film.
