March is a moment to reflect… and to act.

As we mark International Women’s Day on March 8, and the 2026 theme #GiveToGain, we are reminded that when we invest in women, we strengthen entire communities. A gift to the Women’s Fund fuels advocacy, leadership, and lasting systems change for gender equity.

Any special gift made in March claims a metaphorical seat at the WF Sunny Table, the Women’s Fund conference table. Playfully named on executive director Lisa Attonito’s first day because the sun was pouring through the windows, filling the room with light. Since then, the Sunny Table has become a place for community, respite, inspiration, and shared purpose.

In honor of four decades of advancing equity, 40 seats are available… and any gift made during March secures one. What number will be yours? When you make your gift use the comment section of the form to share why you chose that number!

By March 31, 40 seats will be claimed. Below are the individuals who are already taking their place at the WF Sunny Table.

  • LYN A. HILDENBRAND, SEAT #1 because she is the first born daughter, of a first born daughter (her mom), of a first born daughter (her maternal grandmother), of a first born daughter (her maternal great grandmother), of a first born daughter (her maternal great great grandmother)… she is also the first to go to college, and the first to move out on her own.
  • SYBIL BELL, SEAT #4 to honor the WF’s four decades. Thanks, Sybil!
  • VICTORIA A. MOERCHEN, SEAT #12 because her grandmother was born in 1912, and was her role model of a strong woman who never stopped aspiring to learn.
  • KAREN VON RUEDEN, SEAT #13 because most people avoid #13; however, it’s always been good for her. She’s the third of 13 children, and was born on the 13th.
  • ANDREA HUBBERT, SEAT #18 because all the best cartoons were on channel 18 when she was a child.
  • LISA WEISMAN, SEAT #21 because it is her favorite number to cheer since her daughter Sydney wears it playing college softball.
  • TRACEY THOMAS, SEAT #25 because of the date of her birth… 2 + 5 = 7, and 7 = reflection and enlightenment!
  • DR. CHERYL MOORE, SEAT #29 because her birthday is Feb 29. She is leap year baby who believes in quantum leap and acceleration.
  • LISA SCHILLER, SEAT #31 because she wants to honor her daughter who was born on October 31st.
  • BRENDA SANTIAGO, SEAT #40 because she is 40 and choosing this chapter on her own terms. This is the year of finding herself again, and turning that journey into something that lifts others along the way.
