The Women’s Fund of Greater Milwaukee donated several copies of the book, Funding Feminism, by Joan Marie Johnson, PhD. Joan is a historian and author…her book shows how women wielded their money to help make change for women in the 20th Century, including getting the 19th Amendment ratified. The books will be in MPL circulation in about 2 weeks, though available today at Boswell Book Company on Downer Avenue!
